Romaine’s honest and transparent style

Romaine has spent nearly 20 years in the
field of human resources, much of that time being dedicated
to developing expatriates worldwide, and has spent most of
the last 25 years living and working in multicultural environments,
including several years in France, Italy, and USA. She speaks
fluent French and Italian.
A Certified Practitioner of both MBTI®
and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Romaine also has significant
counselling experience, including general and relationship
counselling, understanding eating disorders and working with
the sexually abused.
David Evans BA(Hons), BEd, PhD
With an impressive academic background in intercultural management,
as well as hands-on experience as Head of Export, David’s
specialist areas of expertise are intercultural management,
diversity management, global leadership, multicultural behaviour
and international business communication skills.
Residing in France for 30 years, David has
enjoyed positions as professor and director of international
business schools, managing multicultural teams across teachers,
administrators and company executives as well as providing
cultural, team and language training. His managerial responsibilities
have included strategic planning and implementation, budgetary
control, international representation and public relations.
David is a frequent speaker at international
conferences on intercultural management, and has been a visiting
university professor to Mexico, Finland and USA. He speaks
fluent French, German and moderate Spanish and holds a Post
Graduate Degree and Doctorate in Intercultural Management
from the Universities of Le Havre and Lille.
Gwen Booth ACIS MCLC
Specialising in mentoring, high performance
coaching and performance improvement, Gwen holds a number
of coaching qualifications and has been trained in a variety
of approaches to support organisations and individuals achieve
positive change.
With a background of 21 years in local government
and over 8 years in the private and consultancy sectors, Gwen
has extensive experience supporting local authorities in the
initiation and implementation of change and performance improvement
development programmes, including major strategic public-private
partnerships.
Gwen is a Licensed NLP Business Practitioner,
a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and
an external mentor on the National Graduate Development Programme
in local government. She is also a member of the International
Coach Federation (ICF) and a registered Interpreter for The
McQuaig System™, a licensed user of the ACE (Achieving
Communication Excellence) Model and an Accredited Coach for
Index360©.
Philip Moon BSc, MA, MSc, MCMI, LicCIPD
A lively and often amusing presenter, Philip
is one of the UK’s most experienced management development
consultants, designing and presenting courses on personal
effectiveness, communication skills and organisational behaviour.
He works internationally (particularly in the Middle East)
with organisations from all sectors of the economy and with
people at all levels.
With a career background in general management,
sales and marketing, Philip has worked in training and consultancy
services across a wide cross-section of industries. Prior
to developing his management career, Philip spent three years
as an education officer working for the Nigerian government
and taught in schools in the UK and France.
Philip is a Graduate Member of the British
Psychological Society, a Licentiate Member of the Chartered
Institute of Personnel and Development and a Member of the
Chartered Management Institute. His publications include ’Appraising
Your Staff’ (Kogan Page 1997) and ‘Training for
Time-Management’ (Gower 1994) as well as numerous articles
in professional journals.
Paul Duncan CFCIPD
Paul has an impressive background as a senior
board level human resource director in multi-national companies
with turnovers of £1.5 - £2 billion, and 10,000
-14,000 employees throughout Europe and the USA. At varying
times during his career he has been based in the UK and France
and has led major business restructuring projects.
An experienced senior human resources practitioner,
Paul understands the issues and priorities facing organisations.
His specialist areas of expertise encompass organisational
and management development, coaching and counselling, HR Strategy
formulation and implementing, leading and managing change
- all in an international setting.
Paul speaks fluent French and has a direct
and practical approach – which is summed up in the phrase
“employee care = customer care”.
Christopher Nelson BA, MCIPS
Chris uses his extensive management experience
in the European manufacturing industry to share his leadership
and organisation skills and provide winning business tools
for successful team development within global businesses.
After training in organisational analysis
and systems development, Chris held a range
of management positions in a variety of functions, including
production control, stock control, operation planning and
manufacturing – before ultimately specialising in purchasing
where, as well as introducing a more ‘global’
approach, he enjoyed a particular reputation for developing
teams to full potential and raising their profile within the
business.
Chris continues to make his people development
experience available to the international business sector
and, besides his work with international manufacturing industries,
has just completed a review of all purchasing activities for
The Royal Society.
Jonathan Gunner BSc (Hons), CFCIPD
Jonathan is an experienced human resource
professional and trainer specialising in business coaching,
people development, team building and counselling applications.
A natural and easy communicator with excellent interpersonal
skills, he enjoys engaging and motivating people in creative
and conceptual thinking in order to generate ideas, solve
problems and deliver desired outcomes.
Jonathan has 14 years’ experience
at senior level within the human resource sector at international
level and is qualified in the application and feedback of
psychometric testing. Jonathan's own psychometric profile
indicates that he has strong managerial skills coupled with
an empathetic and diplomatic style. He is trained in NLP and
transactional analysis.
In addition Jonathan has considerable knowledge in the area
of redundancy counselling and the setting up of related job
shop agencies. He speaks intermediate level French.
